
Emmy Award winning actor Neil Patrick Harris has been named as the host for Saturday’s 2010 Video Game Awards show. Viewers will be treated to a performance from My Chemical Romance as well as several world premiere trailers from games including Batman: Arkham City, Resistance 3 and Thor: God of Thunder, as well as the next game from Studio of the Year nominee BioWare, the debut of Guillermo del Toro’s video game and a special Gears of War announcement.
In addition to Harris other celebrities scheduled to appear are Annalynne McCord, “Thor: God of Thunder” video game star Chris Hemsworth, Dane Cook, Olivia Munn, Denise Richards, Academy Award nominated film director Guillermo Del Toro, “Halo: Reach” star and VGA 2010 nominee Nathan Fillion, Nick Swardson, Tony Hawk and cast members from the hit series “It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia” Danny Devito, Kaitlin Olson and Rob McElhenney.
The 2010 Video Game Awards will air on Spike TV on Saturday, December 11 at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT.
