Before college basketball got watered down there were actually NCAA teams with flavor and household names. One such team was Michigan’s Fab 5. Though they didn’t win a championship Webber, Rose, Howard, Jackson and King changed college hoops forever.
The trash talk, baggy shorts, black socks, black shoes and pure freshman braggadocio was unheralded in 1992 and has yet to be duplicated.

Back when America’s hoop team was getting drug in the Olympics, the USA Basketball had the bright idea to let NBA players return the favor to the world courtesy of the Dream Team. The 1992 USA Basketball “Dream Team” was inducted into the basketball hall of fame yesterday and to commemorate the honor Undrcrwn has released the Dream Team Collection.

Love him or hate him, everyone seemingly has an opinion on Lebron James and his decision to “take his talents to South Beach.” Heat fans are elated with the possibility of Bron, Wade and Bosh bringing a title to the 305 and Cleveland fans are still hot but the show must go on. Undrcrwn has dropped a limited edition tee for all the Heat fans and the Lebron supporters that are left. Upper Playground is releasing a four piece capsule collection from the internationally renowned, Herbert Baglione.
The first part of the capsule is an extremely limited hand-made wooden night-stand box with a screen printed Herbert Baglione print mounted on the top. Master furniture designer and woodworker Francisco Robles’ handled the hand construction of the boxes. The Herbert Baglione print finishes off the box and is screen-printed onto thin archival cougar white paper which has then been mounted and coated with a light satin lacquer finish.
The rest of the capsule is features three of Herbert’s designs (Mulher, Crime and Cabeca) on UP’s premium slimmer fit t-shirts.
The box is available exclusively at Upper Playground’s webstore and the t-shirts are available at all Upper Playground retail locations and on the webstore.

The NBA Finals begin tonight and far be it that the house that Stern remodeled to not take full advantage of all the hype. With all the bandwagon and die hard Lakers and Celtics fans worldwide there is no shortage of merchandise tied into the Finals.

For the second time in three years, the NBA’s biggest rivals will play in the NBA Finals. Just in time for the series adidas has released the Locker Room t-shirt commemorating both the Lakers and Celtics Western and Eastern Conference Championships respectively.
The chest features the text “2010 Eastern Conference Champions” printed in team colors above the team logo and for the first time features the Finals trophy.
