Next week adidas is launching a brand new lifestyle/running shoe for the spring (hence the bright colors). The ClimaCool Ride will hit stores on March 23, complete with a commercial featuring David Beckham. The shoe features 360 degree ventilation and will come in 26 different colors, which is a first for the brand. The kicks kind of remind us of Zig but we’ll retain judgement until we see them in action.

The partnership between Keds and Gap has yielded some nice footwear. The latest incarnation is the winterized Chukka. Outfitted with wool and sueded cotton, the Chukkas are available in black, charcoal gray wool, sand and charcoal wool.

Stones Throw is known for producing good music with quirky product tie-ins but this Lacoste collaboration is something we were not expecting. Designed by ST’s Peanut Butter Wolf, the shoe features a full grain leather upper and petite pique cotton tongue. The collaboration is available for pre-order now on ST’s site.

This season, the Keds for Jeffrey duo created classic-colored patent leather styles. The thankfully not-so-shiny patent leather kicks are available exclusively at Jeffrey New York and Atlanta as well as Fred Segal Feet LA. The shoe retails for $110.

BMX star Aaron Ross brought etnies, Sunday and Odyssey together for a three-way collaboration that birthed an etnies bike and Sunday shoe.
The Sunday features a black suede and herringbone midtop and removable velcro strap, cool mint detailing inside the collar and an orange embroidered etnies x Sunday logo on the tongue and on the heel.
The etnies x Sunday Number Mid shoe, bike frame and Odyssey components are available now.
It’s getting hotter and hotter and before you do yourself the disservice ofcopping a pair of Crocs and whining that it’s a matter of “comfort,” you should check the new collection from NATIVE.
The footwear line was founded in 2009 by two Vancouver-based friends, Damian Van Zyll De Jong and Matthew Penner. Damien birthed the idea of creating comfortable shoes that were classic in design but lightweight and washable like sandals. His partner Matthew, a professional graphic designer and senior interface designer at Electronic Arts handled the technicalities of the dream. Together, they’ve created the dopest lightweight, airy kicks made from EVA material (foam rubber); stretching the imagination beyond canvas or grain leather while offering the flashiest colors and styles in their upcoming release in July.
