Harmonix confirmed what many have been anticipating for quite sometime. This week more Jimi Hendrix music is making its way to Rock Band. Pushing the catalog to over 2,000 available songs, titles from The Jimi Hendrix Experience’s album Are You Experienced? will drop October 12th.

Check out the video hosted by Harmonix CEO and co-founder, Alex Rigopulos showing off the keyboard play in Rock Band 3. Rock Band 3 will be released on October 26th in North America and October 29th for the rest of the world for the Xbox 360, PlayStation3, Wii and Nintendo DS systems.
One of the weirdest and most beloved pop stars of our time is finally heading to Rock Band. Today MTV Games and Harmonix announced the release of a 4-pack of songs from Lady Gaga.
“Lady Gaga Pack 01” will include “Bad Romance,” “Just Dance,” “Monster” and “Poker Face.”
Also, a special version of Lady Gaga’s “Poker Face,” made famous by South Park’s Eric Cartman, will also be available in the Rock Band Music Store next week.
Prices for the new content are as follows:
-$1.99 USD, £.99 UK, €1.49 EU (160 Microsoft Points for Xbox 360) per track
-$6.99, £3.49 UK, €5.29 EU (560 Microsoft Points for Xbox 360) for “Lady Gaga Pack 01”

Rock Band is finally infusing some well needed soul into their franchise with the addition of classics by the late great Otis Redding. The five song pack will be Available on Xbox 360 and Wii (Feb. 16) and PlayStation3 system (Feb. 18).
