Leave it to Nike and South Beach Bron to answer the critics with a slick commercial. Aside from the shot at Charles Barkley this is overkill. If the Heat start the season on a winning note then “The Decision” will be a distant memory.
Aside from last years version, I’ve never been a fan of Lebron’s signature kicks but I’m curious to see what they come up with for “South Beach” Bron Bron. Nike will do a full unveiling of the shoe on 9/30. Until then check out the video above for a sneak peak.

Back in 1996, when the Scottie Pippens were originally released by the Nike powerhouse, every cool kid on the block had a fresh pair.
Michael Jordan’s right hand man, actually had a pair of shoes that held their own against major releases by Number 23. The coolness of the white against the metallic silver, and the finality of the black in the smaller details made these the most coveted sneakers that year. These were the kicks that were so ill, it broke your heart that they sold out in your size by the time you got to the sneaker spot.
Thankfully, with all of Nike’s recent revivals, someone in PDX had the smarts to push the button on the a re-release of these beauties. They will be available at select retailers on May 7th.

The good people over at gowherehiphop.com had the pleasure of interviewing the great Bo Jackson about the 20th anniversary of his classic Nike Trainer SC sneaker. The shoe has been re-released to take advantage of commemorate the original but it doesn’t compare.

Inspired by the upcoming release of the Jordan Space Jam, Bun B has designed a very hot Nike AF1 for Bespoke. I have not personally rocked a pair of AF1’s in years but these are ill. Very clean look with a great mix of materials and intricate detailing.
