Los Angeles is the place to be for the sports world this month. The City of Angels recently hosted the Espy Awards and in a couple of weeks they will host the 17th annual Summer X Games. DC endorsed athletes have dominated the games for awhile and this year they could potentially win their100th X Games medal. 13 of those stellar athletes will be on hand July 27th at the DC store in Los Angeles for a huge autograph signing. The upcoming Akomplice X Quintin “Periodicals Series” collection takes cues from the Los Angeles Times and New York Times newspapers and the crime that plagues both cities. We’ve seen the play on words before but the clean design and fabric make this collaboration stand out a bit. The snap backs will only be sold in their corresponding states. Who says print is dead?

As 10.Deep’s “Pop Off Shop” closes in LA, the brand and their Left Coast host Hall of Fame are releasing a collaboration. The 10.Deep x HOF Triple D Snapback will drop exclusively at the Pop-Off Shop and here on Wednesday, January 19th at 12pm PST/3pm EST.
Buddhapparel recently released a few new t-shirts just in time for the holiday season. The “To Live and Die In” series is the highlight here, with tee’s repping for LA and San Francisco. The collection is currently available on karmaloop and on Buddha’s online store.

Here is a sneak peak at one of the tee’s that will drop as part of Buddhapparel’s holiday collection. The “Live and Die in SF” (SF Giants colors) and “Live and Die in LA” (LA Lakers colors) shirts will be available next week on karmaloop.com and BA’s online store.
The Hundreds have released a collaborative effort with world renowned tattoo artist Jun Cha. The 21-year-old who has also done exceptional work with C1rca lends his black and white style to the Johnson Mid this time around. Cha’s design depicts a pretty girl, with her hair floating back to depict a breeze over the Los Angeles skyline on the outside of both sneakers. Maintaining the level of comfort customers have become accustomed to from Hundreds footwear, the sneaker has padding on the tongue and collar openings, as well as half length latex insoles for cushioning inside the shoe.
