No question D. Rose is one of the most exciting players Chicago has seen since Jordan’s legendary reign over the league back in the day. The 23 year old point guard has led his team (of equally young players) to the playoffs every year since he was drafted in 2008. Is it the shoes? Is it the shoes? Maybe. Maybe not, but they must help things. Rose debuted the latest version of his adidas adizero sneakers recently. The Rose 2.5s are said to be “the lightest signature basketball shoe Derrick has ever worn to give him next level speed and support.”

adidas keeps hitting us with new colorways of the adiZero Rose 2. The latest is the silver and white “Silver Lining” which drops November 10th at Foot Locker. These are running a close 2nd to the “Triple Black” Rose 2’s in our book.

Today, adidas announced the release date for the latest colorway of Derrick Rose’s adiZero Rose 2 sneaker. The Triple Black shoe features thick, sturdy materials and rough finish geared towards playing on the blacktop.
The shoe will hit Foot Locker stores on November 10th.

adidas is trying to get their Facebook likes up by releasing this D. Rose commercial teaser and asking fans to like their adidas Basketball page in order to unlock the full 60-second spot. The commercial looks like it could be hot–not so much for the FB campaign.

G.O.O.D. music emcee Big Sean remixed Derrick Rose’s adiZero Crazy Light commercial to the tune of his 2nd single “I Do It.” We’re guessing the Detroit native is not a Pistons fan. adiZero Crazy Light’s in stores now. Big Sean’s debut album Finally Famous, finally hits stores on June 28th.

Today adidas launched a new ad campaign titled “all adidas” complete with a Romain Garvas directed commercial. The spot features soon to be MVP, Derrick Rose, B.o.B , KatyPerry, soccer stars David Beckham and Lionel Messi, Notre Dame football and skateboarders Silas Baxter-Neal, Lem Villemin and Jake Donnelly.
