Since parting ways with New Era, Tradition has expanded their brand beyond college paraphernalia to also include fashion that anyone can wear. The spring 2011 line features denim for the first time as well as snap back caps, sweatshirts, t-shirts, polo shirts, short sleeve button-ups and our personal favorite the half-zip hoodie which is reminiscent of late 1990’s gear.

Benny Gold recently released his Holiday Collection and it is impressive. The delivery consists of three brand new New Era Doughboy fitted caps, two 5-panel caps, new t-shirts (70’s and 80’s babies should love the Ferris Bueller inspired tee), crewneck sweatshirts, socks and the second pair of denim in the BG legacy. All items are available now at the BG retail and online stores.

Today Keds released the 1990’s version of their Century Collection. Inspired by the grunge era in rock, the drop features plaid and denim sneakers. These are definitely true to part of the 90’s but we’d love to see some hip-hop inspired kicks from that decade as well.

The Benny Gold brand has grown by leaps and bounds since it debuted in 2005. For the winter collection they have produced their first ever lookbook that includes t-shirts, denim, headwear first cut and sew garments.
The lookbook was shot around the Mission District of San Francisco (Where the BG shop is located) by Slap Magazine photographer Joe Brook.

The team over at The Hundreds has gone with a concept unlike most other streetwear brands for the upcoming fall season. The seven year old Los Angeles company is offering pieces that pay homage to everyone’s favorite autumn clothes from childhood. This concept is especially strange coming from The Hundreds because how cold does it really get in Southern California during the fall? Despite this theory, they seem to pull it off, from the weathered tees to comfy crewshirts and broken in straight jeans. It seems The Hundreds are just trying to keep us cozy as the temperature drops and the leaves change color. — Nadine G.
Orisue always pushes the envelope on their lookbook shoots. For the fall lookbook the OC brand has used a movie theme. In the motion picture a group of friends are going to their first formal social wine mixer rocking the light jackets, woven button-ups, cardigans, vests, knit shirts and denim from the fall collection.

Stussy has long held the title for OC surf gear; over the years though, the brand has gained widespread appeal. Stussy’s reach has even infiltrated the streetwear donned by the coolest hip hop heads on your block. Their latest collaboration with Levi’s is simply another notch on the company belt. The classic 505 jeans are distressed and feature a leather patch, Stussy branding on the coin pocket and multi-colored patches. The cargo shorts have both a leather patch and branding from both companies. Both items are now available at Stussy flagships and the Levi’s store in Japan.
Orisue’s Summer Delivery 2 recently hit stores and it picks right up where the summer 1 line left off. The line is highlighted by denim, shorts, cargos, polos, plaid and solid woven button-ups, and tanktops. Orisue is constantly pushing the envelope with cuts, fabrics and overall design and the summer delivery is no different.
The SoCal company never fails to bring the heat. The entire collection is in retail stores now.
