The Honorary Citizen X TREES ATLANTA

January 31st, 2012

thc_x_treesblog

If you’ve ever spent any time in Atlanta during the summer you know that it is unbearably hot. One of the main reasons for the temperature is lack of tree cover. Trees Atlanta is doing their best to return the city of Atlanta to it’s green past by planting more trees. The organization has partnered with Atlanta lifestyle brand The Honorary Citizen (THC) in an inventive program where proceeds from select THC purchases go to support Trees Atlanta.

The program continues through Georgia Arbor Day on February 17, 2012

Grip Plyaz is a one of the few non trap rappers out of Atlanta. Since he’s not a part of that movement he’s been lumped into this movement and labeled as a hipster. Earlier this year the 4th Ward rapper responded with the hit underground song “Fuck That Hipster Shit” and these guys are keeping it going with the FTHS T-shirt. Gotta love it.
