Nissan LEAF drivers who don’t have an iPhone are in luck. Today Nissan announced that the LEAF app is now available for Android and Blackberry users. The app allows drivers to check important information about their electric vehicle including:

Check the state of the battery charge
Begin charging
Check when battery charge is complete
See estimated driving range
Turn the climate control system on or off

Motorola i1 Unveiled

Earlier today Motorola and Sprint announced the first push-to-talk Android powered phone. The Motorola i1 is the first iDEN device to carry the features of a modern smartphone including a 3.1-inch touch screen, Wi-Fi, optimized browsing courtesy of Opera Mini 5 browser, access to thousands of apps and a push-to-talk experience (or chirp if you are from LA) that includes exciting new features. Sprint will begin offering Motorola i1 this summer.

Motorola Devour

Earlier this week Motorola announced the March release of the Devour. The Devour will be the first device on the Verizon network to use Motorola’s Android powered content delivery service, Motoblur.

Check out screenshots and more infonru=near you is a GPS based application that offers free access to Zagat ratings and cost estimates for the nearest restaurants, nightspots and shops in over 75 cities around the world. The locations are navigated via augmented reality from a 360 degree first person view on a radar grid.
