With their latest collection Akomplice has further ventured into new territory. In addition to the staples that have made the brand standout their fall collection features the new Basketball Belt, Hooded Varsity Jacket, leather jacket (with removable hoods), hooded button ups and grown-up hoodies. The lookbook itself is different (we’re not going to even try to interpret the floating) but the clothes as always are fly.

Official Crown of Laurel’s fall 2010 lineup is decidedly more mature than past lines. The goal of the collection was to have the headwear match the designers fashion sensibilities. They have effectively achieved that goal with a wide range of headwear that should appeal to a variety of audiences. There are snapback hats, fitteds, skullies/beanies, a five panel hat and our favorite, the English driving cap with herringbone earflap overlapping the brushed flannel crown. The collection will be available in stores and here in early September.

Is there anything better than a solid tee, crisp shorts, clean kicks and a camo hat as a summer uniform? Probably not. NY-based Futura 2000, designer of the Futura Laboratories line, has released two different hat styles perfect for the upcoming season: a five paneled cap, and a bucket hat. Lay off the 100% wool fitteds during the warm weather months and switch the style up.
