Ubisoft put a few trailers of some of their upcoming fall game for this Holiday shopping season.
Fighter’s Uncaged
Might be a little late to jump on the Fight Club band wagon. But if this games comes close to the awesomeness that was Def Jam: Fight for New York its a good start. The fact that it’s a Kinnect game definitely helps the fun factor.
Unless you are 12-years-old or completely devoid of hip-hop knowledge then you know that Style Wars is the go to documentary on early 1980’s NYC street culture.
Unfortunately over time the film’s 16mm negatives have begun to decay in storage. In order to return the film to it’s original glory by transferring each frame to full HD 1080p The Style Wars Restoration fund will kick off its fundraising efforts on September 9th with an event at BAM.
There will be three screenings (4:40pm, 6:50pm and 9:15pm) of Style Wars and a catered reception in addition to plenty of graffiti masters, B-boys and other special guests!
In addition, canvases by the legendary graffiti kings, courtesy of “The Legends of Style”, will be hung at the reception, and DJ Kay Slay will be on the turntables.
On july 15th the Jansport Right Pack Signature Series collaboration with True will hit stores. As one of five stores selected to participate in the project True brings us the Human Zoo Collection. The pack consists of a JanSport Original Right Pack, a zip hood, a tee & a carabiner.
The pack’s contents are items needed for human’s to deal with the various urban terrains of San Francisco. The collabo will be available at True’s retail and online stores.

True has brought back the “Sharpie” 59-Fifty collection. This past weekend they released the original New Era design in a new colorway featuring all grey wool panels, black visor, and light grey underbill.
Along with the fitted, True has also produced a Sharpie Fine Point Permanent Marker with the same handstyle as the cap. A run of crew necks and t-shirts sharing the tonal grey/black theme will also be available.
The collection is available now at True’s Bay Area retail stores and at trueclothing.net.

Charming Baker, one of the UK’s most exciting artists will be showcasing his work in New York City starting this week. It is his first solo show in the United States. for the first time in the United States.
Noted music manager Pat Magnarella (Green Day) saw one of Charming’s shows and was so impressed he has taken over as his manager and been instrumental in bringing his brand of art to the States.
Charming has established a loyal international following with his darkly humorous oil paintings, which are a mix of beauty and brutality. He is as equally comfortable applying a paintbrush to his art as he is a blast of double-00 buckshot.
Charming Baker’s New York Show, STUPID HAS A NEW HERO, runs from May 14-30 (exhibition previews on May 13) at NYSG on New York’s Lower East Side (154 Stanton Street, at Suffolk Street). The exhibition will feature 15 new paintings and five limited edition prints.

Mike Williams was once thought to be the next great wide receiver to enter the NFL. Drafted 10th overall by the Detroit Lions after being forced to sit out an entire season, the USC Trojans All-American player was a bust almost from the start. Failed attempts at a comeback with the Raiders and Titans were short lived as well.
Now Williams is attempting to make the Seattle Seahawks squad under his former USC coach Pete Carroll and Skee TV is there to document what could be this former can’t miss prospect’s last chance at NFL glory.

We almost never post music but an exception had to be made for the loss of Keith “Guru” Elam who lost his battle with cancer yesterday.
We won’t speak on the drama surrounding his final days. What’s known doesn’t have to be said.
