The NBA has been back for a couple weeks now and 2K Sports put together a montage of footage from NBA 2k12 to welcome back King Stern’s league.

Today, Capcom announced that the Devil May Cry: HD Collection will be released on Tuesday April 3, 2012 for a very reasonable $39.99. The collection will be available on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 and will include Devil May Cry, Devil May Cry2, and Devil May Cry3: Dante’s Awakening Special Edition in HD. There will also be bonus content and support for both Trophies and Achievements. Sounds like a winner!
“NBA 2K12″ Roster and Game Update

For those waiting for the rookies, traded players and Ron Artest’s new name to be added to NBA 2K12, today is your lucky day. @K Sports not only updated the rosters, they also released a v1.04 Patch to fix many of the bugs present in the game. The patch effects PS3, Xbox 360 and iOS versions of the game

Tiger Woods Is Back On The Cover Of His Own Game

After a one-year absence, Tiger Woods has returned as the cover athlete for Tiger Woods PGA Tour 13. Woods shares the cover of the upcoming title with Rickie Fowler (North American version) and Rory McIlroy (European version).

EA Sports actually allowed fans to vote on who would join Tiger on the cover of the game similar to what they did with Madden NFL 12 and NCAA Football 12. Are you cool with Tiger sharing the cover of a game that bears his name?

Since WWE and THQ announced that they were deading the Smackdown vs. Raw franchise and recreating it as WWE’ 12, the companies have been hyping the title more than ever. Considering that the RVS series has been hit or miss, we had high hopes that the name change would bring much needed stability.
Read on to see if WWE ’12 is raw or deserves to be smacked down.

Black Ops was my first long-term exposure to the COD franchise. I quickly got up to speed that the lackluster single-player campaign mode was offset by the amazing online multiplayer modes. Learning that the next COD, Modern Warfare 3, would not be made by the same developer, Treyarch, had me a little skeptical as my favorite feature, zombies would not be in this year’s game. But Infinity Ward has an excellent reputation, handling Activision’s cash cow game.

“NBA 2K12″ Brian Wilson vs. Blazers Fan Celebrity Debate

San Francisco Giants pitcher Brian Wilson and his Bigen beard are back to defend the 1986 Celtics as the best team ever. This time he’s arguing with a Trailblazer fan repping Clyde the Glide’s 1991 squad. Though the fan doesn’t have a leg to stand on, his stance is entertaining nonetheless. Shoutout to 2K Sports for keeping the NBA in the mix, since Stern, the owners and players don’t seem to care.

Detroit Tigers Justin Verlander Covers “MLB 2K12″

Tigers ace, Justin Verlander was named as the next cover athlete for the Major League Baseball 2K franchise at yesterday’s Players Choice Awards. The game doesn’t drop until next spring but you can check out actual game footage of Verlander in action in the trailer.

“NBA 2K12″ Adds 45 New NBA Legends

2K Sports announced the “Legends Showcase” DLC a couple weeks ago (21 and H-O-R-S-E, 2-on-2 Teammate Challenge and 3-on-3 Era Challenge). Today they unveiled the names of 45 new legends (in addition to the 115 already in the retail version of the game) that will be available when the DLC is launched.
There are a lot of great (Bernard King, Rick Barry) and not-so-great (Gheorge Muresan) players on the list. Our only question is when are we going to be able to play with Charles Barkley? Make that happen 2K.
So if you’ve ever wondered what the outcome of a Yao Ming and Shawn Bradley post battle would be then this is your lucky day.

“Grand Theft Auto V” Trailer

The speculation can cease, GTA V is set in Los Angeles, CA. Judging from the first trailer from the highly anticipated game, the open world will cover a lot of SoCal. At first glance we see replicas of Hollywood, The Valley, South Central and Downtown. The storyline is a familiar one–a gangster trying to get out of the game.
