Konami Releases new “Never Dead” Screens

January 13th, 2012

NeverDead_Jan6th01

Never Dead will hit stores on January 31st for Xbox 360 and PS3 and Konami has released a few screens from the Shinta Nojiri created title to wet gamers appetites. Yes, this is yet another hero battles demonic figures on earth game but there are a few different things here. For example, once the main character Bryce Boltzmann breaks down the demons via hand-to-hand combat or by throwing body parts, the enemy can seek new life by reattaching body parts. The decapitation and regeneration sounds equally scary and hilarious. We’re looking forward to seeing if Never Dead actually lives up to its lofty title.

“Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3″ Review

November 21st, 2011

COD: MW3

Activision/Infinity Ward

PS3/Xbox 360/Wii

3.0 out of 5.0

Black Ops was my first long-term exposure to the COD franchise. I quickly got up to speed that the lackluster single-player campaign mode was offset by the amazing online multiplayer modes. Learning that the next COD, Modern Warfare 3, would not be made by the same developer, Treyarch, had me a little skeptical as my favorite feature, zombies would not be in this year’s game. But Infinity Ward has an excellent reputation, handling Activision’s cash cow game.

“NBA 2K12″ Brian Wilson vs. Blazers Fan Celebrity Debate

November 14th, 2011

tumblr_lso2pxIHDC1qbcyhro1_500

San Francisco Giants pitcher Brian Wilson and his Bigen beard are back to defend the 1986 Celtics as the best team ever. This time he’s arguing with a Trailblazer fan repping Clyde the Glide’s 1991 squad. Though the fan doesn’t have a leg to stand on, his stance is entertaining nonetheless. Shoutout to 2K Sports for keeping the NBA in the mix, since Stern, the owners and players don’t seem to care.
