There goes the neighborhood. The good people over at Harmonix have finally added some hip-hop flavor to the Rock Band franchise via none other than the Doggfather himself… Snoop Dogg. Eight of Snoop’s songs spanning his entire career will be available throughout September in the Rock Band music store.
Snoop who is a regular gamer seems pretty excited about his inclusion. “I consider myself an OG gamer, and to be chosen as the first hip hop artist to appear in Rock Band…well, it doesn’t get any better than that, ya dig?!?” Snoop said. “I know my fans gonna get down with tha Pound with this one and tha youngsters really gonna realize who started this gamer ish, u hear me?!?”

Today EA Sports announced the released date and box art for NBA Jam on Nintendo Wii. The game will drop on October 5th, the same day as NBA Elite ‘11.

Today EA released the team rankings for the AFC East and West divisions. There are a few questionable ratings in our opinion but what would Madden be without controversy. Let the debates begin.

Super Mario Galaxy 2

Super Mario Galaxy 2 is, like almost every other Mario game, very similar to its predecessor. If you liked the first one, there’s almost no way you’re not going to enjoy this one, and if you’re in the minority of people who didn’t like the first one so much, this one might have some magic for you.

In anticipation of the October 5th release of Def Jam Rapstar for the Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii, Method Man and Redman will perform their hits live, from “How High” to “Da Rockwilder” during E3 at the Konami next Wednesday.
“Rapstar is hottest thing coming right now so you know we had to be a part of it,” stated Method Man. “We only associate ourselves with that heat, nothing else.”
In addition to Method Man and Redman, DJ Clinton Sparks, will be spinning all day at the Def Jam Rapstar stage on Wednesday June 16th. –Branden J. Peters

I’m not the biggest summertime person. Granted as a kid it meant no school and long nights for hanging out but as an adult its more about the complexities of trying to dress appropriate when its 97 degrees out (rolled up sleeves are extremely overrated), beefing with people who attempt to BBQ on the sidewalk of the street you live on even though the park is 2 minutes away and battling mosquitoes like you’re in the Amazon Jungle.
