Future Hall of Fame player and current Seattle Mariners Star Ken Griffey Jr. proudly turned over a check last week in the amount of $50,000 for a custom Raider from Star Motorcycles to the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, his favorite charity.

The Baseball-themed Raider, fabricated by renowned custom designer, Nick Anglada of Nick Anglada Originals, was unveiled last fall at the Long Beach International Motorcycle Show.

“Our original idea was to auction the bike to benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of America,” said Ken Griffey Jr. “but I liked the Raider so much, I just had to buy it!”

Thankfully Junior was awake when it was time to present the check. We kid, we kid.

Fred Perry turns 100
