Aside from the horrible very forgettable The Fast and The Furious: Tokyo Drift film that starred Bow Wow the sport of drifting hasn’t had much mainstream appeal in the States. Unlike NASCAR drifting never had a face that the American public could instantly identify the sport with.That is until Vaughn Gittin Jr. aka JR came along. JR who has been living and breathing cars his whole life is the poster boy for Team Falken. If a white guy kicking butt in drifting wasn’t enough to make him stand out from the crowd then his 650hp Ford Mustang surely does it.

Earlier this month JR took the 2010 Ford Mustang to the sports birthplace Tokyo, Japan to compete against the best drift racers in the world and kuhvet.com was right there to check it out.
